Dana graduated from the University of the State of New York in Albany with a BSN and then went on to earn her Master of Science of Nursing with a focus on Women’s Health from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Since 1996 she has been a Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner at Tennessee Oncology in the Gynecologic Oncology division. She has served on the Medical Advisory Board for Gilda's Club Middle Tennessee and the SGO Education Committee and worked closely with the Oncology Nursing Society and the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition. Dana has given numerous podium presentations including presentations for SGNO, the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), Janssen Speaker Bureau, AstraZeneca Speaker Bureau, and many more. She has accomplished many things in her career, but her connection to her patients and passion for educating others on women's health is where her true successes lie. Dana has been a loyal member of SGNO since 1996 and has served the organization admirably.
